3764(II)_Animation visit in Jakarta

Jakarta, Indonesia - October 10, 2015 - The last full day of the animation visit of the EAO regional councilor (October 10, Saturday) was dedicated for the animation of the Salesians and Salesian family in Jakarta.

In the morning Fr. Vaclav attended the Salesianity Class of the postnovices and listened to their presentation of Chapter 5 of the 'Salesian Youth Ministry Framework'. This important Salesian animation material is slowly translated into Bahasa Indonesia. In his short conference the Regional shared with the postnovices three questions: Who is you Cafasso and where is your prison? - about spiritual guidance; No English - no vocation? - about the importance of good grasp of English for the life of the Congregation and each Salesian; Do you know Don Bosco? - about ongoing study of our Father as educator, pastor, communicator, founder and missionary.

The whole morning was dedicated to the Indonesia Delegation council meeting (Fr. Lino - Delegate Superior; Fr. Ola - Formation, Fr. Hendrikus - economer and Fr. Prastowo - Secretary and Youth Ministry). Open dialogue about the main points of animation and government of the Delegation were enlightened by the Road of the Rector Major (ITM 2021).

Last was the Salesian Family encounter in Wisma Don Bosco. In the evening 25 SDB from three Salesian communities & four presences (postnovitiate, parish, vocation training center and formation house for Salesian Brothers), 10 FMA from Sunter community (within the SDB parish of St. Yohannes Bosco) and 15 Salesian Cooperators (with their new Coordinator Mrs. Yanti) came together for an evening prayer, animation and joint meal. The ANS video messages with subtitles in Bahasa Indonesia or English (Salesian Family and Dear Confreres n.4) were a good spiritual and apostolic inspiration for all present.
