Vietnam, HCM City, 13 November 2021 -- Vietnam's Teachers’ Gratitude Day (20 November) is almost here. In the context of not being able to organize normal activities to express gratitude to educators, especially to Salesians, the aspirants at Don Bosco Xuan Hiep (Thu Duc, Ho Chi Minh City), took the initiative to organize an online writing contest via Facebook about their teachers with the topic: “Teacher - Past and Present”. The contest takes place from 26 October to 15 November.

Participants in the contest include all young people who are students, regardless of religion, under 30 years old. Contents of writing include: Short stories, poems, or essays related to the topic, with pictures and illustrations; The length should not exceed 1500 words.

Results will be announced on the evening of 19 November 2021. The organizers will contact participants directly to give attractive gifts after the program. The scoring structure of the contest is as follows: article content accounts for 80%, LIKE and SHARE 10%, Pictures or videos for illustrations 10%. Entries will be posted on the Don Bosco Xuan Hiep aspirants’ Facebook fanpage every day to track likes and shares. Prizes include: 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize and 1 consolation prize. In addition, the SC team of Don Bosco Xuan Hiep will give all participants a Don Bosco bracelet.

Hopefully through this contest, the participants will have more gratitude for those who have been educating them to become good people.
