Ba Thon Sacred Heart Novitiate, SaiGon, Viet Nam, 14 September 2021 -- Since the day they made their first vows on 14 August 2021, nineteen new Salesians have not been able to move to the Dalat institute of Philosophy because of pandemic social distancing laws. They are living with novices in the same house. During this time, in addition to the basic subjects, our young Salesians are studying a missionary course. Their teacher is Father Do Cao Cuong SVD. This course will last for two weeks.
In addition, they are also studying Latin online under the guidance of Father Peter Tran Quang Hien SDB who belongs to Dalat community.
As for the novices, they are also receiving a special course on human and emotional maturity under the guidance of Father Joseph Do Duc Dung SDB, the provincial formation councillor.
