VIE Provincial House, 9 September 2021 -- After 6 years serving the VIE Province as the provincial economer, on 7 September 2021, Brother Peter Nguyen Hoang Phi made the farewell to confreres of the Provincial House. He transfered to Don Bosco Bencat Community (GoVap District, SaiGon) on 8 September 2021 and will continue his journey as a Salesian brother in his new role.
During the farewell dinner, the Rector of the provincial community, Fr. Joseph Nguyen Kim Khanh, expressed his gratitude and congratulated him on completing 6 years of service to the Province in the economic administration of the province. After that, Fr. Khanh gave him a commemorative gift. Next, Father Provincial, Barnabas Le An Phong, also thanked him and gave him farewell gifts on behalf of the confreres.
In response, Br. Phi asked everyone to continue to pray for him in his new journey at the Don Bosco Bencat community, especially in his upcoming studies.
Because of the strict travel restrictions, on the next morning (8 September), Brother Phi had to ask help from the local government to be able to move to the new community.
