Father Lagger Germain, SDB, RIP

By VIE SC

VIE, 2 September 2021 -- With heartfelt gratitude to one of the great Salesian missionaries in Vietnam before the year 1975, the Salesian Province of Vietnam announces: Father Lagger Germain, SDB (Vietnamese name: Bui Nhu Lac) rested in the Lord at 5:00 a.m. on 28 August 2021 (Cameroon time) in Cameroon, aged 86 years old.

The VIE Province and the Salesian Family in Vietnam are always grateful to the Salesian missionaries who brought Don Bosco’s charism to Vietnam and sowed it in our homeland where it has been growing, spreading and bearing much sweet fruit. May God, through the intercession of Mother Mary and Don Bosco, bring him to His eternal life of love and happiness with Him.
