Tigaraksa, Indonesia, 8 August 2021 -- On the 1st of August 2021, the first Salesian religious profession in Tigaraksa community (Java island) took place: Frater Arnoldus Yanur Bate Gope and Bruder Simplisius Kora. The Eucharist was presided by the INA Superior, Fr Andrew Wong and due to Covid restrictions only the local community members were present.

Don Bosco's Salesians in Indonesia are blessed by a continuous vocation 'intake'. On the same day four new novices were accepted in the Tigaraksa novitiate community and also three prenovices (Aril, David and Jefri) officially started this formation stage in Don Bosco Sumba (Rector Fr. Adie).

We pray for the diligent work of our formators in Sumba, Tigaraksa and Wisma-Sunter and wish our candidates and young Salesians daily small steps on their vocation journey.

Saint Louis Versiglia, pray for us!
