The official commentary (18 pages A4) is divided into 6 parts and concludes with a prayer to Mary, Mother of Hope:

1. Global situation of 2021 - challenge we can't ignore

5. A Salesian interpretation of the present moment

Confinement helps us to open ourselves

From individualism to greater solidarity and fellowship

From isolation to the culture of encounter

From division to greater unity and communion

From discouragement to transcendence

We are not saved by our strength alone - No one is saved alone

More than ever: presence is witness

6. A Salesian Family that witnesses hope

6.1 Rediscover that faith and hope go forward together

6.2 Learn that prayer is the school of hope

6.3 Living with a sense of fatigue of daily life - living with objectives

6.4 Living hope especially in times of difficulty and loss, trust God

6.5 Hope as a decisive return to the poor and excluded

6.6 Recognize ourselves in the other's pain (suffering injustice)

6.7 Converting to hope - believe in the plan of the Gospel

6.8 A concrete commitment to take up as the Salesian family

6.9 Let's us explore a truth: we are in God's hands

7. Mary of Nazareth, Mother of God, Star of Hope

“Holy Mary,

Mother of God, our Mother,

teach us to believe,

to hope and to love with you.

Show us the way to his Kingdom!

Star of the Sea,

shine upon us

and guide us on our way.” (Spes Salvi, 50)

Amen.
