Canlubang, Philippines, 24 September 2019 -- The 24th of the month has been celebrated In the diocesan shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Canlubang since the early days with the consistent support of the Salesian formation house and with involvement of the Catholic community coming regularly to the Shrine on Sundays and Feast days.

The 24th of each month is a special day for the 3 SDB communities in Canlubang. Before the evening Eucharist (6 p.m.) there is always the common prayer of the Rosary led by our prenovices and aspirants with the involvement of a few dozen Canlubang families, each of them bringings the statue of Mary Help of Christians, treasured in their homes for the entire month past. At the end of the Eucharist each family once again receives a statue and the task of treasuring it and praying in the presence of our Mother in their house.

For the whole Salesian family Mary is our Mother, and we are happy to rejoice with ADMA members this year as they celebrate their 150th anniversary of Foundation by Don Bosco. There are many simple ways to share our devotion and filial relationship with our Mother and Help: we entrust ourselves to her every morning after meditation and invite the faithful to recite a similar prayer of Entrustment. We pray the Rosary together in many different ways and encourage the young and families to say this prayer. We believe with Don Bosco that without Her we can't really contribute to the mission of Her Son or become credible disciples of Jesus.

Mary Help of Christians, pray for us!
