Smith Daengampan, together with the Salesian principals, organized a Seminar on the role of lay administrators in Salesian Schools today at Westgate Residence Hotel in Nonthaburi. There were 65 lay administrators from 7 Salesian Schools: Saengthong Vitthaya School, Saint Dominic School, Don Bosco Technological College Bangkok, Don Bosco Technological College Banpong, Sarasit Phithayalai School, Hua- Hin Vitthayalai School and Don Bosco Vitthaya School.

A group of school administrators of Salesian schools in Thailand visited Plearnpattana School, Bangkok on 18 July 2019. Chief Executive Officer and School Director of Plearnpattana School, Mr. Thanong Chotisorayut, gave a warm welcome before sharing his ideas on the "Enhancement of educational achievement by leaps and bounds wirth scarce resources using a massively scalable process". Moreover, the school staff presented the school management under the Small schools in One Big School Concept which will strengthen its teachers teams to individually improve the learners’ behaviour and to efficiently support their potentials.

On 19 July 2019 Fr Dheparat Pitisant, Provincial, presided and addressed those assembled on "Education as a Matter of the Heart" at the Seminar. Then Fr.Wirach Amonpattana CSsR spoke on "Catholic Educational Management with Quality in Facing New Social Challenges" to raise awareness of the changes in world education and to focus on how to handle possible future problems.

The group of school administrators attended a workshop on Preventive System held by Fr.Yarat Chaiyara, SDB on 20 July 2019 to create the right understanding among administrators and teachers in each Salesian school and to adapt this system to real life usage with children in their own school with the belief that the Preventive System can make the children’s minds and spirits grow perfectly.

In conclusion, the educational visit, the seminar, and the workshop during these 3 days were designed to encourage the participants to realize that teachers in Salesian schools should have right and clear roles based on Don Bosco’s spirit. The particular identity of teachers in Salesian schools would support the schooling of both education and edification for children in 21st century.
