RMG, Rome, 3 June 2019 -- Four months before the start of October 2019 declared by Pope Francis an "Extraordinary Missionary Month" for the whole global Catholic community, the Salesian Family too receives a simple, but well-focused set of animation materials for each of the 31 days (October 1-31, 2019).

5. Adequate structures for evangelization
6. Collaboration in evangelization

8. Well qualified local clergy

Each day (two small pages) follows a simple scheme:

• Gospel reading
• Popes Magisterium (Maximum Illud 1919 > Pope Francis)
• Salesian reflection
• Something to think about
• Something to share or to do

Pope Francis expect sa renewed missionary awareness and action from the 2019 Extraordinary Missionary Month all around the world. Depends on the creativity and consistent effort of each provincial Delegate for missionary animation and/ or Youth Ministry Delegate. This year our Congegation celebrates the 150th Salesian Missionary Expedition with more than 35 new missionaries (Turin - Valdocco, September 29)
