Parañaque City, the Philippines, 31 May 2019 -- The Salesian Society of Saint John Bosco is graced with the Perpetual Profession of twelve (12) Salesians. These Salesians come from different provinces of the EAO Region (Philippines North Province, Philippines South Province, Province of Korea, Vice Province of Indonesia, and Vice Province of Myanmar).
The solemn event was held at the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Paranaque City. Fr. Felino Gueco Jr. SDB, FIN Provincial Superior, received the vows of the 12 Salesians. Present during the celebration were Fr. Godofredo Atienza, SDB – FIS Provincial Superior, Fr. Charles Saw Tin Han Lwin, SDB – MYM Provincial Superior, Fr. Marcello Bak Gwang Hyun, SDB – KOR Vice Provincial, Salesian formators, Salesians confreres, family and guests of the professandi and the young people.
Luncheon followed after the Eucharistic celebration in the Shrine gymnasium.
