A musicale in honor of the father and teacher of youth

San Fernando, the Philippines, 18 August 2018 -- Run! Jump! Make noise, but do not sin. It is Don Bosco’s rhythmic sound for the young. Don Bosco Academy – Bacolor as co-producer with Teatru Kapampangan, collaborated with Arti Sta.Rita and the Laus Group of Companies in holding the original musicale “Don Bosco and the Lost Boys” last August 18, 2018. It was directed by Mr. Andy Alviz, a well-known artful director of different musical plays.


Mr. Levy Laus, a proud alumnus of DBA Pampanga Chapter generously and fully showed his support as he willingly offered his spacious Laus Event Centre in the City of San Fernando to stage the musical play. It captivated the attention of all the Bosconians, Salesians, Lay Educators, Alumni, Parents, Salesian Cooperators and other sponsors and guests of the event both in the matinee show at 2:00 PM and the gala show at 7:00 PM.


“Don Bosco and the Lost Boys” musical vigorously exhibited to the audience the life and vocation of St. John Bosco and helped Bosconians know better the Father and Teacher of Youth. It was sensationally participated by the Coro Giovannico of Don Bosco Academy – Bacolor and some chosen Bosconians and a Lay Mission Partner. The original compositions of songs and superb choreography elevated everyone’s spirit and satisfaction.


The well-appreciated musical “Don Bosco and the Lost Boys” received excellent praises and was even given acknowledgement with a standing ovation from the audience which filled the event center with spectators coming from different places. Archbishop of San Fernando Florentino Lavarias and Archbishop Emeritus of San Fernando Paciano B. Aniceto, DD as well as Salesians from different settings headed by Fr. Anthony Paul Bicomong, SDB, FIN Provincial Superior, graced the event with their presence during the gala show of the musical play.


With the excellent musical play about the early life and vocation of St. John Bosco, people will heartfully and unceasingly love the Father and Teacher of Youth.
