New teachers are meeting the heart of Don Bosco in Hua Hin

Hua Hin, Thailand, 24 June 2018 -- Thai Salesian Province held the Seminar in Hua Hin house for our new teachers. There were 64 teachers, coming from all Salesian schools from different parts of Thailand. It was like their first orientation to our Salesian school, the purpose is to train them and give them an idea about Don Bosco Preventive System.

The main topic of the Orientation about Don Bosco’s life and his pedagogy, was given by Fr. Nopphorn Joseph, the principal of Sarasit Phitayalai School. All new teachers were very active and really creative on how to adapt Don Bosco Preventive system to the challenges related to their student challenges.

Thanks to Don Bosco for giving us such a great way of eductaion, practice, his preventive system to take care of the young people also in these days.

Another very impressive sharing was given by our 9 Thai Lay Mission Partners who attended the 2nd EAO Salesian Studies Workshop (Paranaque, April - May 2018). Their contribution was lead by Mr. Poonyawee and Mrs. Panita Manosantipap, who shared their great experiences and what they have gained from the 2018 EAO Study Days in Paranaque.

This seminar helped our new teachers to adapt Don Bosco Preventive system and be able to apply it in practical ways in their respective schools - in classrom, playground and within the school community.

We hope this seminar will bring many effective fruits in our 7 Salesian schools of Thailand and will help us to share the Don Bosco Way of Education also in the future.
