Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, 28 June 2017 -- Fr. Paul Leung SDB, the Delegate of Mongolia completed 25 years of his priestly ordination. In this auspicious occasion, to mark the event the delegation of Mongolia organized a get-together on June 27, 2017. More than 150 people gathered around him to felicitate and to express their gratitude for his service done in Mongolia. The event started with the Holy Eucharistic celebration followed by felicitation program and dinner. During the homily he shared about his mysterious priestly call and God’s guidance in his vocation. He said that he was the only catholic in his family and God called and picked him up from the oratory run by the salesians. He gave a very inspiring homily.


Fr. Pual Leung SDB made his first profession in the Salesian congregation on 16th August 1984, and on 16th August 1990 he made his perpetual profession. Then, he studied Bachelorate of Philosophy and Theology at the Holy Spirit Seminary College from1984 to 1988; at this college he got the title of Magna Cum Laude in Philosophy and Summa Cum Laude in Theology. He was ordained on June 27, 1992. After his ordination he has worked in various positions like, catechist, Vice-principal, Vice-rector, Prefect of Studies, Delegate for Mission animation, Core member of youth Pastoral Team, Delegate for Social Communication, Spiritual director of Carmel Sisters, Parish priest, Provincial Councilor etc., and since 2016 he is a delegate of Mongolia.


As a person he is very simple and fatherly, social and approachable, pious and religious, and profound in faith and conviction. The delegation of Mongolia expresses its sincere gratitude and appreciation for his whole hearted service in the mission.
