HCM City, Vietnam. 26 April 2017 -- For almost three months, the Province of Vietnam-Mongolia has benefited from the extraordinary visitation of Fr. Vaclav Klement, the EOA Regional Councilor. It seems to be a marathon Visitation where the representative of the Rector Major to 18 Salesian communities and presences throughout the whole of Vietnam, spreading from the North which is not far from the border of China-Vietnam and to the farthest South.


In a growing Province with more than 325 professed confreres, a good number of them are still in initial formation, the Regional could successfully conduct more than 347 personal talks and encountered all provincial commissions as well as various groups of Salesian Family at local and provincial level.


The conclusion session of the provincial council was blessed with the presence of Fr. Paul Leung, Delegate - Superior of Mongolia Delegation who joined the meeting to share information regarding the situation of this far-away delegation.


The conclusion session with the Provincial and his Council lasted for 3 hours, pointing out strengths and urgent challenges that the Province is facing, in line with the GC 27’s teaching. The Provincial pledged that the recommendations would be the lines of action for the next few years at the Provincial and local animation and guidance.
