Happy Easter to all EAO Boscolink and AustraLasia readers and correspondent!

If you spent one hour browsing the Facebook pages on the Easter Sunday, you would immensely rejoice together with the Salesians and their faith communities and youth celebrating the Holy Week and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We would follow the colorful Passion play from the Philippines (Cebu) or Papua New Guinea (Kumgi) or those very realistic flagellation of Jesus in Dalat (Vietnam) or the Crucifixion of Jesus in Darkhan (Mongolia). The washing of the feet on Holy Thursday in Sihanoukville parish church (Cambodia) as well the many well animated Way of the Cross in Meguro parish (Japan – Tokyo). Also the Easter retreat of the migrant Pugad Don Bosco (Manila, Philippines) is jusa t the top of the iceberg of many recollection opportunities given to the Don Bosco youth in order to taste the deep joy of this Easter celebrations.

Probably we would be most deeply touched and grateful by numerous photos of young people becoming the children of God. Starting from the ‘seven angels’ prepared for their baptism in Yuet Wah College (Macau-China), 18 young and not so young catechumens baptized by bishop Wenceslaus Padilla in Darkhan MHC Parish (Mongolia), six boys of Sharing Home (Nanum) in Shin Weol Dong (Seoul-Mongolia) or group of smiling parents with their newly baptized children of Sabama parish in Port Moresby (Papua New Guinea). Even more touching is to share the joy of one of our Aspirants (in Hong Kong rejoicing after baptism of his own mother!

Hundreds of EAO Salesian Facebook pages confirm our deep believes, that our journey with the young people starts in the playgrounds or classrooms, but always leads towards the Risen Lord! And in the same time we acknowledge the impact of community joyful witnessing from Kwangju (South Korea) up to the Mae Rim - Chiang Mai Catechetical training center (Thailand).

More we share our Easter Joy also our own Faith is growing! Walking with the young, we encounter the Risen Lord, The various photos and joy filled faces are the best Easter wishes and witness!

Lord is Risen amidst us, Alleluia!
