FIN Province, 13 November 2020---The Salesian Brothers of the Philippine North Province (FIN) celebrated the Feast day of Bl. Artemide Zatti on 13 November, from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM via the Zoom platform.

Fr. Gerry Martin, SDB Provincial Superior of the FIN Province joined the 14 Salesian Brothers in the celebration. Present also in the event are the Brothers who belong to the FIN Province, but are working in different Provinces such as Br. Mon Callo, SDB who is assigned at Sede Centrale Salesiana, Br. Obet Narvaez, SDB who is with Istituto Saleisana San Callisto, Italy.

Br. Jomar Castillo, SDB, a missionary to Brazil, also joined the celebration.

Br. John Coral, SDB, who is now in the EAO Salesian Brother Formation House in Paranaque, led the participants in prayer to formally begin the celebration.

In his welcome remarks, Fr. Gerry said that the feast of Bl. Artemide Zatti reminded him of the following: First, Br. Obet’s brother Renato, who was miraculously healed through the intercession of Bl. Zatti. Secondly, of Br. Nicolas Aguila, SDB, who is now sick and has decided to stay in Don Bosco Tarlac. And lastly, Bl. Zatti reminded him of the Salesian brothers.

After Fr. Provincial’s opening message, the brothers introduced themselves, starting from the newly professed up the long-standing Salesian brothers.

Towards the end, the time was given to Br. Mon Callo, Br. Obet, and Br. Tony the eldest by profession to give words of inspiration and encouragement.

The program ended with the prayer led by Br. Justin Mercado who is from the PostNovitiate in Canlubang.
