Parañaque City, The Philippines, 10 June 2016 –- A great news for us! After staying away from the Seminaryo ng Don Bosco for more than two years now due his debilitating collapse and illness, Fr Jose “Pepe” Reinoso, SDB was finally able to come back again for the first time to the place which he considers his “home”, the Seminaryo ng Don Bosco.
It was a heartfelt homecoming especially for the Salesians in the Seminaryo ng Don Bosco and for the lay mission partners who feel very close to Fr Pepe.
The brothers and priests welcomed their former Rector with the song “Alma Missionera” and prayed over him as they sang a blessing song.
Fr Pepe stayed at the refectory with the confreres as they took their lunch. Afterwards, the brothers showed Fr Pepe the new developments in the compound of Parañaque.
As we praise and thank God for the grace of recovery, let us continue to pray for Fr Pepe.
