Hong Kong -- The first vocation camp in Hong Kong during this academic year was held on Oct 28-29, held at the House of Mary with the theme of understanding the Rosary prayer and to imitate the gentle goodness of the Virgin. Four Salesian priests and young Salesians of the Salesian House of Studies were animated the whole event in a joyful family spirit.

After the initial ice-breaker to build up mutual understanding through group games, all participants were involved in various activities according the main theme of vocation camp.

During the Good Night Talk the young people searching for their vocation were invited to follow the example of Our Lady to listen carefully, take the time to make a short prayer every day and every night and also to develop the good habit of saying every night three Hail Mary.

On the second day after morning prayers all together were heading for pilgrimage towards the Wan Chai Parish of Our Lady of Carmel. During the meditation and the final Eucharist all participants were encouraged to listen, pray and meditate the Word of God like Mary, in this way to understand better the will of God in their lives. The participants from 19-35 years of age learned how to become humble in front of God's people. God is calling us in different ways. Our response is starting from a grateful heart that knows how to make good use of the gifts received from God.
