Ratchaburi, Thailand, 16 April 2019 -- On 15 April, 2019 , Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Thailand celebrated the 100th birthday and the blessings of Mother Agatha Ladda Satvinit’age, the first Thai Superior General. She was elected as Superior General for four terms, all together 20 years. Now she is confined to bed, but cannot communicate by words, yet she still recognizes everyone whom she knew very well.


16 April, 2019, is her birthday. She completes 100 years today, but we organized the Day of Gratitude on 15 April, thanking God for all the gifts of her life among us. She is a holy woman among us. She gave all her life for God and for the Congregation. She loves the poor, the needy and no one come to her without receiving something. On this day a lot of people came to thank her and thank God with us. There are two Bishops: Bishop John Bosco Panya kitchareon, Diocese of Ratchaburi, Bishop Silvio Sisipong, diocese of Chantaburi (her nephew) 26 priests: 9 Salesian priests, 14 Ratchaburi diocesan priests, 3 Suratthani diocesan priests , 8 Sisters of Mary Help of Christians in Thailand, 5 Sisters of Saint Paul de Chartes, 65 SIHM and 45 SIHM candidates and around 200 relatives and all the benefactors who came to the thankgiving Eucharistic Celebration at the Chaplain of Baan PornPatcharahathainiramon, Ratchaburi. Bishop Sivio Siripong was the Celebrant. After the Eucharistic Celebration we had lunch together.
