Ratchaburi, Thailand, 9 May 2022 -- On 6 May 2022, at 12.30 hrs., the Rector Major, together with the Provincials of the EAO Region and their Councils, visited Narivittaya School and Bann Bann Ponpatchara hathainiramon of the SIHM Sisters. Sr. Maliwan Poramatviroj, the Mother General, and the Sisters, gave a warm welcome to the visitors. During the meal, the students performed some cultural dances in an atmosphere of a family, to the delight of the guests.

The Sisters of the Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary are one of the 32 members of the Salesian Family. They were founded by the late Bishop Gaetano Pasotti, SDB. At present, there are 94 members, 12 communities, 9 schools. Besides these, the Sisters help also in the pastoral work of the Catholic Dioceses of Ratchaburi, Surat Thani, Bangkok and Chiangmai. There are sisters - missionaries in Cambodia as well.
