Don Bosco Tacvan Parish, Vietnam, 27 December 2021 -- At 7:30 AM on Tuesday, 21 December 2021, Don Bosco Tac Van Community (CanTho Diocese - VietNam) organized a Christmas gift distribution activity. Poor families, poor students, families in difficulties, including those of other religions, were the main subjects of this activity.

467 presents were involved in this gift distribution, each present being equivalent to VND 150,000. These gifts from the hundred of benefactors from all over the country were at sharing the message of love and humanity on Christmas Day with the impoverished. Although the gifts are just bags of rice and boxes of noodles, the poor feel joyful because these presents not only relieve the financial burden in in their lives but also bring happiness to their daily activity.

To avoid spreading disease, the gift distribution was arranged in each zone across many different time frames. There are many poor families but a limited number of gifts. Therefore, the poor who received coupons received gifts. Thanks be to God, this meaningful volunteer activity ended successfully at 5.00 PM. Don Bosco Tac Van Community also conveyed its gratitude to all benefactors and families.

Wishing every family a peaceful and happy Christmas and New Year in the love of the Child Jesus.
