Don Bosco K'Long, 17 June 2022 -- In order to give childhood joy to children and healthy playgrounds for young people, on June 12, 2022, Don Bosco K’Long organized summer activities and the sports tournaments 2022. At the same time, the summer program also aimed at arousing solidarity, and to connect different groups of children and young people, develop skills and increase other life values for them.
Attending the Summer program were nearly 100 young people and 10 football teams from K’Long, Dai Duong, Dinh An, Da-rahoa, Hiep An Secondary School and Chu Van An High School, Duc Trong.
Opening the summer activities, the Rector, Fr Joseph Tran Van Hien together with Fr Chu Dang Chan reminded and encouraged the children to participate in activities, experience childhood in joy and happiness.
On the same day, the 1st K’LONG CUP football tournament for teenagers was officially opened. Attending the opening ceremony, were the precious presences of Father Barnabas Le An Phong, the Provincial of the Vietnam Province, the Father in charge of the Oratory, Peter Truong Van Hoan, companions and 10 teams that were ready for the exciting Summer Tournament. In the opening speech, Father Barnabas encouraged and guided the children to regain their vitality, regain their spirit and meaningful childhood joy after the hibernation period of Covid.
With a healthy environment, cool weather, large playground, Don Bosco K’Long will bring children and young people exciting and meaningful summer days.
