       Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 6 September 2022 -- At 7:30 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2022, Don Bosco Theologate Institute, belonging to Philip Rinaldi Xuan Hiep Community, held a program to open the new school year 2022-2023.

       Participating on the opening day were Father Provincial, Barnabas Le An Phong, Father Dean, Joseph Nguyen Van Am, Father Rector of Philip Rinaldi Community - Joseph Le Ngoc Anh, Father Secretary - Joseph Nguyen Ngoc Vinh, and Priests of religious orders, 60 students from 16 different religious congregations. Thank God through the prayer of St. John Bosco this year the institute has 21 more students in the first class, including 6 Salesians of Don Bosco, and 15 students from other congregations.

       The opening program of the school year is held in a solemn and warm atmosphere. The Dean gave the opening speech of the school year. Next, Father secretary announced the studying program in the new school year. In particular, Father Provincial, in his speech, also reminded students to be aware of theological study and research.

       After a break and taking pictures, at 10:30 a.m, Mass was celebrated solemnly and fervently, presided over by Father Provincial. He also emphasized in the sharing: "It is necessary to purify the motivation to study, not just for the sake of grades or passing the subject, but to study theology to become a good shepherd, to understand and live the faith strongly and to serve the poor and abandoned youth”.

       Let us all continue to pray for the Don Bosco Theological Institute, Philip Rinaldi Community, so that the Community can fulfill the task given by God and the Province.
