ITM student in Jerusalem celebrates Perpetual Profession
- and six others named Michael celebrate their feast day!

JERUSALEM: 29th September 2005 -- Following in the footsteps of Jesus, almost literally for one studying in Jerusalem, third year theology student Bro Dayan Perengkuan today makes his perpetual profession as a Salesian into the hands of Fr Francis Preston, Rector of Salesian Institute Ratisbonne.
Dayan hails from Sulawesi, Indonesia.  He has spent several days of immediate preparation at Beit Gemal, a beautiful and historic Salesian community not far from Jerusalem, supported by a number of archaeologists as the first resting place of St. Stephen, the first Christian martyr, after his martyrdom.
But today is the Feast of the Archangels, and, something special for Ratisbonne inasmuch as all three Archangels are represented amongst the community names, and in abundance for Michael, between Michael Smyth (IRL), Michele Ferrero (CIN), Michal Meier (PLN) and Michal Foremnik (ANG).  Gabriel Almonte (ANT) and Raphael ING) - sorry, surname unknown to the writer - make up the remaining two archangels!
