'Frozen Delights': Salesians Mongolia website

ULAAN BATAAR: 28th September '04 -- The Region welcomes a new website into its midst.  In words taken from self-description by the webmaster, welcome to the 'Salesian Frozen Delights' who, one assumes, are the International Team harnessed under the auspices of Vietnam province, and now well-established in Ulaan Bataar.
The site provides some basic information about Mongolia itself, and the briefest of histories of the Salesian presence in that country - because that history is brief anyway.  2001 onwards, according to the site. There are photos, including summer shots with, yes, blue sky (but you can't guess the temperature from a photo).
You can read about the Don Bosco Industrial Training Skills Centre, particularly the new scholastic year which has just opened.  All in all both the site and the development of the work are a credit to Fr. Carlo and his team.  You can find the site at www.ficopola.net/mongolia

'austraLasia' is an email service for the Salesian Family of Asia-Pacific.  It functions also as an agency for ANS, based in Rome.  Try also www.bosconet.aust.com.     Did you know that 'qualitative and quantitative consistency' directly translates an important GC25 criterion for Salesian communites?  But it's oh so heavy in that Latinate form!  For further comment cf Lexisdb
