Banquerohan, Legazpi, the Philippines, 14 January 2019 -- Another milestone has occurred to Don Bosco Agro-Mechanical Technology Center for it has received the Accreditation Certificate from the Department of Social Welfare and Development as a Social Welfare and Development Agency last January 14, 2019.


The institution has complied with the First Level standards in the implementation of Community-Based Programs and Services for Youth and Families in compliance with the provision of Section 23, Republic Act 4373 “An Act to Regulate the Practice of Social Work and the Operation of Social Work Agencies in the Philippines and for Other Purposes”.


The institution will now have the benefits and privilege offered by the DSWD such as technical assistance on programs and services implementation, participation in DSWD’s capability building and skills enhancement, and other benefits and privileges provided from time to time as deemed appropriate by the department. On the other hand, the institution also received the Registration Certificate and License to Operate last October 25, 2018. Don Bosco Agro-Mechanical Technology Center has complied the requirements to operate as a social welfare and development agency implementing Community Based Programs and Services in accordance with Section 28, Republic Act 4373 “An Act to Regulate the Practice of Social Work and the Operation of Social Work Agencies in the Philippines for Other Purposes”.


This signifies that Don Bosco Agro-Mechanical Technology Center will never get tired in providing assistance to individuals and families. As St. John Bosco once said, “Do good, do all the good you can and you will never regret doing it.”
