Hanoi, Vietnam, 9 January 2024 -- On the Feast of Epiphany, the community of Nông Vụ organized a Christmas Fair for about two hundred children, including both Catholics and other religions.
In spite of the inconvenience of space, there were ten games for the kids. Some groups of laypeople actively participated in preparing food, accommodation, stage, and other settings.
Everyone attended the 8:30 mass, followed by the morning talk by Fr. Dominic, in charge of the community.
The kids used their given tickets to join the games, then they got awarded tickets to buy food or various things. That is one way to give them Christmas gifts. The day ended after lunchtime with joy and happiness. Hopefully they will shine as guiding stars to encounter Jesus for all people they meet.
