Kep, Cambodia, November 12, 2015 - The managers of the Technical Sections and leading positions of the Don Bosco Technical School in Kep Province, attended a workshop on Staff Motivation Skills led by Leadership Cambodian trainer Mr. Savuth Say on November 12.

The activity intends to improve the team working performance of Don Bosco staff to the best profit of human resources for the fulfillment of the Salesian Mission in favor of students and children that get benefits from the Don Bosco programs.

Mr. Savuth Say proposed as goals for the activity to provide material to motivate the leaders in working with their teams, to understand personal staff motivation, styles, habits and qualities and "how to be inspired in order to inspire others."

The program included the 50:50 rules, personal needs and motivation, respecting employees' feelings, helping staff members to motivate themselves, earning staff respect and keeping it, making the work interesting, a listening and informing survey and getting the best from people.

The Don Bosco Technical School and Kep Children Fund was set in October 2011 to serve children and young people from the mostly rural areas of Kep, Kampot, Takeo and Ratanakiri, including children from ethnic minorities, disabled and vulnerable. Most of the teachers are the same Don Bosco past pupils, trained in the Salesian Methods of education. The ideal is that teachers and social workers become leaders in the Don Bosco projects, so it is possible to guarantee continuity and effective performance for the favor of kids.
