Wisma DB, Jakarta, Indonesia, 8 July 2022 -- On 7 July Cl. Paulus Marianus Sabong Bataona (a.k.a 'Frater Noce') made his perpetual profession as a Salesian of Don Bosco. Father Lino Belo, Vicar of INA-Vice Province celebrated the Mass and accepted his profession in the Wisma SDB Postnovitiate Community, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Cl. 'Noce' is a missionary in Papua New Guinea (PGS Vice-province), currently a theology student at DB School of Theology in Paranaque, Philippines (FIN). The INA Vice-province Superior, Fr Andrew Wong, who could not attend this event while still in Labuan Bajo (Flores Island), sent his congratulations. The act of self-offering made already in the first Salesian religious profession is renewed throughout whole life.

At the end of the profession Eucharist at Wisma, Jakarta, Brother Noce choose the words of St Francis de Sales: "God takes pleasure in seeing you take your little steps..." A number of Salesians, family members, friends and young people attended this celebration, even though his parents could not come. We accompanied him in prayer and in action.
