Comoro, Dili, Timor-Leste, 3 May 2022 -- The Provincial Economer Office of TLS Vice-Province for the first semester of 2022 conducted one-day training and evaluation for all administrators/economers together with 9 lay mission partners. This training was held in the audio visual room of DB TVET Centre community Comoro. This training is meant to be an opportunity for all to learn from one another under the guidance of Mr. Alexander Pichai Muthu from India.

In the previous week, Mr. Alex visited all communities, giving assistance to our local economers in each community regarding the ACME ERP Accounting system. Yet it is good to be together since each community has different experiences and problems.

This training had four sessions, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. For the first session, there was an evaluation on the effectiveness of ACME ERP Accounting system shared by each economer. The accounting system has been established, adopted and used for a long time, yet it was introduced again in the year 2017 until 2022.

In the second session, Mr. Alex explained and guided the participants on some features and new applications of the ACME ERP Accounting system that needed to be updated. This will help the participants, most especially the economers to do their work properly, with transparency and accountability.

The third session is the most important one since it tackled the importance of each community report for something like RENDICONTO (All reports from each community, its income, expenses, assets, bank statements …) to be submitted to Rome. The last session, as guided by Mr. Alex, was looking to establish the ACME ERP maintenance system in cooperation between TLS Vice-Province and DBTech India. There was also an opportunity given to the participants for some clarifications, questions and suggestions. After having all sessions ended, in the name of the participants as well as from TLS Vice-Province, Fr Gui do Carmo da Silva, SDB thanked Mr. Alex for his generous support and time to make himself available to come to Timor-Leste and facilitate the training and evaluation.
