The musical
Makati City, the Philippines, 02 March 2019 ----- The Salesians of Don Bosco Philippines North Province through the Salesian Missions Office, in cooperation with Teatru Kapampangan, presented the original musical “Don Bosco and the Lost Boys” last March 2, 2019. It was directed by Mr. Andy Alviz, a well-known artful director of different musical plays. All the songs were original compositions of Andy Alviz, Gie Recina, and Jake Abella.
Held at the Braga Theater of Don Bosco Technical Institute, Makati City, at 2:00pm and at 7:00pm, “Don Bosco and the Lost Boys” musical vigorously exhibited to the audience the life and vocation of St. John Bosco and let the audience to know better the Father and Teacher of Youth.
This musical had its first performance last August 18, 2018 at the Laus Event Centre in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga. But due to insistent public demand, the Philippines North Province decided to have a rerun of the musical, this time in Metro Manila, on this Year of the Youth. The Coro Giovannico of Don Bosco Academy – Bacolor, Pampanga had a special participation.
Congratulations to Fr. Ditto Gueco, SDB and to all the people who made this praiseworthy endeavor a success.
