Filipino 'BOSCORALE' tour in Tokyo with Salesian Cooperators
Tokyo, Japan, 29 July 2018 -- During last few days the Chorus group "Boscorale" have been staying at SDB formation house in Chofu to attend "Tokyo International Choir Competition" held in Harumi.
"Boscorale" is the Chorus group of Don Bosco Technical Institute (DBTI) in Makati, Philippines. They are 30 secondary school students, 13 to 18 years old accompanied by Fr. Donnie Duchin Duya,SDB.
They arrived at Chofu on July 25th, and attended the Competition on 28th, then they gave us their amazing performance at Chofu Catholic Church Sunday Mass on 29th. They will leave for Osaka, on next Wednesday.
During their stay, more than 9 ASC members and ASC aspirants gathered on 5:30 every morning, and prepared and served students' breakfast and also some dinners.
On 29th, we had Monthly meeting of ASC Chofu Salesio local center, where our delegate Fr. Noby Tamura (Rector of Chofu) invited Fr. Donnie, and shared some themes including his vocation stories. They made our meeting very fruitful!
