Cebu, the Philippines, 12 November -- The SYM SDB FIS organized a formation for the young people dubbed as IDWYD (Inter Don Bosco World Youth Day) with the theme “Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.” at Don Bosco Youth Center–Pasil, Cebu City. This event is participated in by around 235 young people from different Don Bosco Houses in Cebu. This happened last November 12, 2016, Saturday from 7:00AM-6:30 PM. The activities in this event are the veneration of the Local World Youth Day Cross and Icon, giving an input, presentation by Don Bosco houses in Cebu, Station of the Cross wherein the participants are tasked to perform Works of Mercy in the different areas in Pasil , visit of Holy Door and Mass at Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral.

SYM Core Group, Youth directors, brother assistants, leaders and animators and also the members who have participating this year's IDWYD 2016 celebration. To all who have supported us, our FIS SDB superiors, Don Bosco Pasil Community, all parents, sponsors, benefactors, friends. God will surely bless us with more empowered Salesian youth...willing to help build God's kingdom here on earth. Viva Don Bosco!
