An inspiring message 

by the PGS Viceprovince Superior Fr. Alfred Maravilla

Kumgi, PNG, 1 April 2018 -- During the blessing of Don Bosco Shrine in Kumgi (Papua New Guinea) was invited a professional Salesian Social Communication crew from India - Bangalore. One of the fruits is this short video about Salesian Missionary Vocation - inspiring message by the PGS Viceprovince Superior Fr. Alfred Maravilla.


Fr. Jiji would like to share this video clip with wider EAO public, to contribute for the missionary animation:

    "As an Easter gift I would like to share with you an enriching talk by Fr Alfred (Provincial of PNG and Solomon Islands) on Salesian Missionary Vocation. I am sure you will like it. Kindly share it, lets keep the Missionary Temper alive! May the Risen Lord keep us journeying out of our own comfort zone!"

Indeed the PGS Viceprovince is on the priority missionary list of the Rector Major, together with Cambodia, Australia-Pacific province, China province and Japan.


Just on the Easter Vigil the Rector Major has assigned one Salesian Brother native of Argentina, with a rich missionary experience in AFW (English speaking West Africa) and in Italy, to the PGS Viceprovince. Welcome Br. Jose!
