Don Bosco Agromechanical Technology Center

Legazpi City, Philippines, 29 Decembre 2015 - Don Bosco Legazpi assists people from rural areas of Bicol Region in two fields: skill training for employment of 210 youth every year and by assisting families and their children through the farmers in the proper utilization of their farmland, thus improving their economic sufficiency.


The Don Bosco Agromechanical Center facilitates the provision of training, seeds for planting, fertilizer, simple machinary (tractor of 55 hp) and marketing. Indeed Don Bosco purchases ALL what they produce, therefore no worries for the 24 farmers involved in this project.

For this our center has established and organized an Agricultural Cooperative, still young and growing.


This year experience was for me very encouraging and confirmed that the farmers do need a person who will help their organization, assistance and will sustain them in the self-sufficient agricultural enterprise.
