Praying With Mary for new deacons and new perpetually professed Salesians

EAO, 12 May 2018 -- From Spain, through Philippines, Myanmar up to Vietnam, we are receiving many invitations for perpetual professions and deacon ordinations in our Region: all in all there are 8 priestly ordinations, 18 deacon ordinations and 6 perpetually professions (one Salesian Brother and five candidates to the priesthood). Two of them are missionary ad gentes.

• May 18th - The Priestly Ordination of Deacon Francisco Biu, since 2013 missionary in East Africa Province (Sudan-South Sudan-Kenya-Tanzania) at his home parish in Mobye, Phekone Diocese.


• May 24th - The Priestly ordination of four Deacons of MYM Viceprovince in Myanmar, deacon Tenew Lian Za Uk John, deacon Maung Maung Andrea, deacon Kyaw Min Tun Paschal and deacon Saw Shine Win John.


• May 24th - The Priestly ordination of three Deacons of FIS Province Keith Jumao-as Amodia, Keith Jipos Belcina, Vince Michael Sabal in Cebu at the archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in Cebu


• May 31st - Perpetual profession of five SnDB Paranaque students in the Shrine of MHC, one from ITM - Timor Leste two from MYM and two from Philippines South province FIS.


• June 2nd - The Deacon ordination of 8 Salesians - candidates to priesthood of Xuan Hiep Theologate (Vietnam) in the Parish Church of St. John Bosco in Ho Chi Minh City, VIE:


• June 16th - The Perpetual profession of FIN - Malaysia missionary, Salesian Brother Manuel Ruperez Arroyo from Spain (Madrid), member of the FIN Province, in Atocha Shrine of Mary Help of Christians.


• June 23rd - The Deacon ordination of 10 SnDB Paranaque students in the Shrine of MHC: one for the FIN province, one for the FIS province, one for the THA-Cambodia delegation, five deacons for the ITM-Timor Leste and two for the ITM-Indonesia delegation.

We pray through the intercession of Mary, for the gift of fidelity in their total dedication to her Son Jesus at the service of the young and the people of God!
