Hoa An, Viet Nam, 26 June 2017 -- At the artificial football field in Hoa An (Bac Giang Province, Northern Viet Nam) began the 3rd football chapionship 2017 for the young. This football championship was organized in summer every year. The purpose of this football championship was to give opportunity of healthy recreation for the youth in this Hoa An parish, for other nearby parishes, and also for other nearby villages and communes.

Present at the openning ceremony was Fr. Jos Ngo Xuan Tin, SDB the head of Salesian Hoa An Presence, the head of organizing team Fr. Martin Mai Quyet Thang, SDB, heads of different communes and villages, and also all the members of twelve football teams.

In the openning address, Fr. Jos Tin, SDB highlighted the aim of this football championship is to offer to the young a healthy playground, and to contribute to the education of these youth; besides it helps to build in them the spirit of solidarity between different parishes, villages, and communes of this area.

This football championship will be taken place from June 17 to July 7, 2017, and all the teames were divided into two tables according to their age (from 12 to 15; and from 16 to 18). Right after the openning ceremony there were two football matches playing. The first match was the host team Hoa An parish vs Tien Son parish; the second match was My Loc parish vs Tien Luc parish. All players played very well in order to offer to the audience the best they could. There were so many audiences came to see these football matches and support to their players.
