Dili, Timor Leste, 15 October 2017 -- The SDB community of Blessed Philip Rinaldi Post-novitiate and the young animators of the oratories held an Oratory feast. It was made in a gym of Don Bosco, Comoro. More than 400 young people and children from 11 Oratory centres participated in this event. Each of these centers is animated by the Post-novitiate community in Dili as their pastoral weekly apostolic work. The aim of this event is to conclude the Oratory activities of this year 2017. The whole educative and pastoral community gave together thanks God for the graces they had received during the Oratory days during past school year.
The event was initiated with the Eucharistic celebration presided by Fr. Apolinário Neto, Superior of ITM Vice-province at 9:00 AM. After the Mass there was animation time with items from some Oratory centers. After lunch at noon time, there was at 1:30 PM was performance from each of Centre and variety of indoor games in the large Comoro Gymnasium. During the performances were distributed also awards to the winners of indoor games and the winner of the Bible contest competition.
We are grateful to God for one year Oratorian year without any serious health accident, thanks to the contribution of many Salesians, our Lay mission partners and youth animators.
