Graduation at UB

The pic says it all, really. Several of the large graduating class from Ulaanbaatar's Salesian-run technical institute jump for joy as they graduate on 12 February 2014.

Leaping into the future!

ULAANBATAAR: 15 February 2014 --  The pic says it all, really. Several of the large graduating class from Ulaanbaatar's Salesian-run technical institute jump for joy as they graduate on 12 February 2014. Basic information regarding the school: Official Name: Don Bosco Industrial Training Skills Center. Ownership: Privately owned and run by the Salesians of Don Bosco. Local Organization: Catholic Mission Education Accreditation: Ministry of Education Recipients: Mongolian Students aged from 16-22 years with preference for technically-inclined students of working-class families and underprivileged families. Trades: Industrial Sewing; Woodworking-Carpentry; Auto-mechanics; Plumbing-Welding, Office Assistant-Secretarial. Complementary: Secondary Education / High School Education School Motto: "We prepare for Life".

And perhaps the other thing that says it all, completely in his own way, is from Fr Andrew Nguyen Ting, the current Delegate for Mongolia which comes under Vietnam Province: "Much deeply joy we thanks to God for the years has passed and our Dear superiors, Benefactors, and our dear fathers, brothers had been worked and supporting for our school and all the teachers, staff of DB ITSC has been teaching and working for the day of student's graduation has come".  The message in his invitation to the 13th Graduation for DBITSC is clearly one of joy and thanksgiving, and the 75 young men and women already know that with this graduation, and the school's already well-established record of post-grad employment, they have a better future ahead.

Founded in 2011 DBITSC is the only Catholic Technical institute in Mongolia. The graduating students in question have completed a two and a half year course in their chosen area.
