Fraternal exchange between the postnovices and the Superior

Dili, Timor Leste, 11 June 2018 -- The postnovitces of TLS Vice-Province are in their semestral break. Our Salesian tradition has taught us that for a salesian holiday is not a time for idleness but it is a moment for us to change our occupation. For this reason, the superior of the vice-province Fr. Apolinario Neto, SDB summoned to the provincial meeting room the postnovitiate brothers and gave them a formative conference. It was a time of fraternal exchange between the postnovices and the Superior.

Drawing inspiration from the articles 105 and 114 of our Salesian Constitutions, Fr Apolinario encouraged them to deepen their search for God by way of continues dialogue with God calls them and leads them forward always with a new initiative. Father Provincial also reminded them to assume personal responsibility for their own formation. This encounter is the provincial’s way of animating the confreres in initial formation in order to help them responsible for their own growth as Salesians for the mission. As usual the meeting ended with picture group taking.
