4684(III)_Fr. Federico Baggio, SDB passed away

UPS, March 29 -- The comunity of St. Francis de Sales of the Vice-province “Maria Sede della Sapienza” (Rome) comunicates that today on Holy Thursday, our Good Lord have called to His house Fr. Federico Baggio, SDB at the age of 94 years.

Fr Baggio was:

• Born in Cusinati di Rosa’ (Vicenza) on 26 Sept,1923
• Novitiate at Villa Moglia in 1944 (Chieri, Torino)
• Perpetual profession in Tokyo (Japan) in 1950
• Priestly ordination in Cusinati di Rosà (Italy) in 1980
• From 1946 to 1948 he was a teacher in Cumiana (Torino, Italy)
• From 1948 to 1977 he was a teacher in technical school (Japan)
• Since 1977 was a member of the UPS Delegation and Vice-province, served as Director with the Bookstore and Economer of Don Rua community.
• Since 1981 was member of Gesu Maestro community.
