THE STORY OF PIN-HONG IS AN INVITATION

Dear friends, if you have time you can watch this short film we produced with a team composed of Lay Mission Partners and Students of our Tainan, Salesian Technical School. I wrote the story based on my knowledge and experience with young people when I was doing my practical training. This time we focus on this type of youth, who are somehow lost, who don't not want to do anything, who are living without dreams, a kind of "mama's boy". 

This short 20 minutes story would like to help the Salesians and our Mission Partners (non-Christians loving Don Bosco) in order to encounter our students who are non-Christians with a heart of Don Bosco.

Sometimes we lack a knowledge or courage in our evangelizing mission of the Church today, especially in terms of the inculturation. We may look to know only how to celebrate the Mass and talk to people who are Christians, using a tradition church language. But they find difficult to learn the new language of the culture and especially of the young. 

We need a lot courage and wisdom in order to embrace the new culture and world of the young people. This short movie, story of Pin-Hong is an invitation to be present among our Tainan youth with a heart of educative - pastoral community. Fr Lin in the story represents all Salesians who are working in Tainan. Enjoy our movie!
