In this 'private' context, then, your suggestions for improvement are very welcome. You could find Italian originals on http://www.sdb.org in the 'saints' sections - as well as the official translations. But the idea is to look at the versions below and tidy them up where needed.

Please note: you need to scroll down to see all of them - there are currently 12 items. A brief look at the existing markup in the edit section will indicate how I have broken up the lines (with 2 backslashes). Feel free to adjust line lengths if you wish, though the important information is really word or phrase translation. Don't worry about changing words - all changes are recorded, and if there is any need to go back to an earlier version it is achieved quite simply. What would help, though, is if you give a one line summary in the 'summary' box (in edit, at the bottom) to make tracing your change quicker. jbf
