SEOUL, SAN FRANCISCO: 22 January 2013 -- Korea Province has good reasons for celebrations these days.  Those we can legitimately mention here (there could be others) are to do with Perpetual Professions and Priestly and Deaconate Ordinations.

Brothers Pascual Shin, Joseph Shin and Stefano Kim would like us all to rejoice today, the Memorial of Blessed Laura Vicuna, as they make their final professions as Salesians in Seoul.

The other nine indicated above we can name later - they are currently preparing for their ordination as priests (seven of them) and deacons (two).

As for Fr Arthur Lenti - he will be well knwon personally to so many through our Region who have benefitted from his teaching, his presence and yes, his hearty breakfasts with egss any which way you like them done!

His Director at Don Bosco Hall, Fr John Roche, has indicated that if anyone should like to send Arthur a birthday message (for 31st January)  they have two possibilities:
