China Province celebrates 27 new Cooperators and 2 new centres
HONG KONG --  Yesterday, 18th March, China province held the annual general meeting (AGM), successfully, of the Salesian Cooperators, with very good attendance (over 150) at Salesian School, Hong Kong.  During the meeting, two new Centres were officially erected:
§   Centre of The Immaculate Conception, Macau, 9 members and Delegate-FMA
§   Centre of Versiglia Vicuña, Tung Chung, Hong Kong, 11 members and Delegate-SDB

At the Holy Mass at which the SDB Provincial, Fr. Simon Lam, presided, 27 new members made their Promise to become Salesian Cooperators.  Fr. Simon Lam in his Homily reminded the new members that the Promise is in return for God’s merciful Love.  Prior to the AGM, a 2-day retreat was organized for the new members to prepare for their Promise, attended by 45 people in total, including members and aspirants from Hong Kong and Macau.  Starting with the spirituality of the Da Mihi Animas Cetera Tolle, the spiritual director, Fr. Matthew Chan, guided the participants through reflection about 'Salesian' (as the 'DNA' of St. Francis of Sales) and the living out of this in daily life/work.

In addition, the new provincial council (2012-14) was installed at the meeting.  Is it an AGM of triple happiness?!
